Jakarta, Kompas - Sanksi yang dijatuhkan terhadap guru SMAN 9 Bandung sekaligus aktivis pendidikan, Iwan Hermawan, berupa penundaan pangkat satu tahun, menyalahi aturan.
”Karena itu, sanksi tersebut harus dicabut,” kata Suparman, Ketua Umum Federasi Guru Independen Indonesia (FGII), seusai mengadu ke Komisi Ombudsman Nasional, Kamis (7/8).
Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, Iwan dituduh menyebarkan berita tidak berdasar di media massa, yaitu kebocoran telah terjadi sejak hari pertama UN tingkat SMA/MA/SMK pada tahun pelajaran 2006/2007 sehingga menimbulkan keresahan di kalangan siswa. Padahal, Iwan sebetulnya berinisiatif memberikan peringatan kepada para siswa agar tidak memercayai kunci jawaban yang diduga palsu dan beredar melalui pesan singkat telepon seluler.
Sanksi kemudian dijatuhkan Wali Kota Bandung kepada Iwan. Surat keputusan yang ditandatangani tanggal 25 September 2007 tersebut baru diterima Iwan 28 Juli 2007.
Anggota Komisi Ombudsman Nasional, Teten Masduki, yang menerima Iwan, mengatakan, Komisi Ombudsman Nasional akan menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut dan mengklarifikasi ke Wali Kota Bandung. ”Kami akan memeriksa apakah terdapat pelanggaran administrasi,” ujarnya.
